You guys! Today marks 38 weeks + 6 days pregnant and the fatigue has finally set in. I'm looking at it as baby prep for those sleepless nights ahead. So for now I'm just listening to my body, enjoying this much needed rest and taking in these last few days with just me, my Husband and my pup.
During this down time, I thought it would be fun to share some of the items we put on our registry for baby girl. We were lucky enough to have a lot of items passed down to us from my brother and his wife, who just had their baby girl in December. And since their daughter was just 4 months old when we started putting our registry list together, everything was still fresh in their minds to tell us what to/not to splurge on. Lucky for us, they had done all the research so we just took their advice and selected the items they suggested. What was also nice is my Husband's sister has 1 1/2 year old twins..so between my two sister-in-laws, they were able to point us in the right direction of what was and wasn't necessary for newborns.

Now, this certainly isn't everything listed on our registry. And, of course we know that what works for one baby doesn't always work for the next. So, we have a few back-up items just in case we come across that issue. After baby girl is here, I'll share an updated blog post with my recommendations based on what worked best for her!
